While it’s primary use is for staying in touch, the cameras on today’s smartphones are good enough to rival dedicated cameras, and advances in smartphone photography have all but replaced point-and-shoot cameras that used to be commonplace.
And for the majority of us, that means the camera on our smartphone. As the saying goes, the best camera is the one you have with you.
